Scientific Writing Training

Hi there, thanks for your interest! Please note that I’m currently on maternity leave and will be taking on new clients from February 2025 onward.

Course

Writing a scientific journal article (and getting published)

You’ve done the research and analysed the data—now it’s time to write! But where to begin? How to structure your ideas? And what makes a paper ‘good’?

In this course, you’ll learn to craft a well-written scientific journal article, from developing strong key messages to writing an engaging narrative. By the end, you’ll have completed your manuscript and be ready to manage the revision and publication process.

Writing Consultation

Manuscript Troubleshooting

Wrote a manuscript that’s almost there, but not quite yet? Maybe the paper lacks depth, feels disjointed, or is difficult to read. Or perhaps you’re not sure what’s wrong with it, but your supervisor isn’t happy.

In this troubleshooting trajectory, we’re going to assess your manuscript, work on concrete strategies to improve the text, and get it ready for publication.

1-on-1 Coaching Sessions

Getting it done

Would you like practical support with writing up your scientific MSc thesis, PhD dissertation, journal article, or conference presentation?

Whether you’re stuck, overwhelmed, or battling a looming deadline, sometimes it’s just easier to get some help. In 1-on-1 coaching sessions, I provide practical strategies to battle common writing challenges. These sessions are also perfect for issues that don’t require a complete Manuscript Troubleshooting; such as writing a Discussion section or finding relevant literature.
